"after moving into an older home which I have recently found out is FULL of mold, but has been painted over.
If anyone has ANY suggestions on how to get this under control again, I'd love to hear from you. My 2 year old son has recently broke out with lesions as well, and it is killing me to watch him suffer. Please help."

for the mold problem I would look at ozone machines.

I have an ozone machine and it is great for killing pathogens in the air and getting rid of odors. You can't turn them up to much as they can also harm lung tissue.

A great way of getting rid of mold is scrubbing the walls down with a solution of bleach.
