From what I hear about Ascorbic acid, it is bad news.

Camu Camu is the HIGHEST known carrier of Vitamin C.
My friend who locks himself in all day takes his Camu Camu packet every morning. His once extremely pale skin is now a beautiful tan and rose color from the stimulation of blood circulation in result of the Camu.
