Surely you've all heard of Consumer Reports? I had an Ionic Breeze in my small efficiency. Ran it pretty continuously for smoke removal. (It's winter... it's cold) After less than a month, I had developed a serious cough where I'd bring up this white salty mucus. For 2 weeks I coughed uncontrollably. Felt horrible. The ozone would just sit in my room making me worse. Once I realized this, I immediately looked for an alternative. I thought the new Ionic Breeze with Ozone Guard would be the solution. Luckily I found the website above, and know not to buy any Sharper Image products. I now currently own a HEPA Whirlpool filter. I never smell ozone, and it controls smoke well.
