I understand wanting to gain weight as I wouldn't mind a few extra pounds myself;-)
However, increasing your protein intake for a designated amount of time isn't going to produce long term results, but will in fact contribute to the problem in the long run by congesting your liver/gallbladder.
Ultimately, what would be a wiser approach for long term results and overall health, would be to follow the general recommendations for cleansing your system that are put forth on this site.
It may mean that temporarily you may lose even a little more weight or maintain what you have, but in the long run it will increase your body's ability to absorb and assimilate what you're feeding it -- which will in the long run, help you to gain weight.
Alkalizing your system and dealing with parasites and candida - 2 big contributors to underweight -- are also really important to be sure you are addressing when cleansing.
