Hmm, this is a big question - and really only the patient can come up with the "right" answers as there are many variables to consider -- budget, comfort level, kind of cancer, what's working, etc.

I went through two bouts of cancer with my mother and have coached several people with cancer through the process of navigating the natural road to healing. It is a quagmire that can be quite daunting if you let it. Don't let it. Relax as much as possible and trust that you will be guided.

Here are some of my thoughts on this hot topic...

1 - most definately stop referring to this person as "terminal" and completely put out of your mind the time frame that she has been "given" - both are completely erroneous and can be detrimental to their/your state of mind. And state of mind are vitally important in the cancer journey.

Also understand that most people today that take the medical route die from the "treatments" they undergo such as radiation and chemotherapy. Few actually die from cancer. This was certainly the case with my mother.

I always make it a point to tell people that my mother died of chemotherapy (not cancer), as I believe this is an important distinction that we all, as a society need to start making in order to take away power from both the medical industry and the cancer itself.

2 - I would do a lot of research on the *particular kind of cancer* that this person has with regard to the *specific* natural approaches that have been successful. Start by researching this site, putting in a search or asking on the cancer forum.

3 - No matter what kind of cancer they are dealing with, you are definately on the right track asking about cleansing as CLEANSING IS IMPERATIVE.

When it comes to this endeavor, here is my opinion in general terms without having more specific information. I would most definately get started on the following:

1 - a series of colonics (2-3 a week) on a CLOSED system -- if you can't afford to do the colonics, I would get going on the Colonix Program avail at http://www.drnatura.com

2 - start taking a teaspoon a day of "sole" made from the Himalayan Pink Salt. This will start clearing the colon, kidneys and liver/gb simultaneiously and also help balance the pH. Read more on this in the book Salt & Water, by Barbara Hendel (Water & Salt? -- one or the other:-) and also the specific info/applications they recommend for cancer.

3 - Get and read The Amazing Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse by Andreas Moritz. And start doing the liver flushes very soon - get the colon cleared out first. He also has a recipe for a great kidney cleanse that you may want to do first depending on the condiditon of the kidneys vs. the liver.

4 - I would also, at the very least for the next few months, go on a strict elimination diet cutting out all common food allergens (wheat, dairy, soy, etc.) and stimulants (i.e. sugar, caffiene, alcohol, etc.) I have complete instructions for an elimination diet in my book "If It's Not Food, Don't Eat It!" http://foodfitnessbyphone.com/aboutbook.htm
and consider doing an even more intensive cleansing diet either intermittantly or for a few weeks initially to expedite healing. Vegetables, vegetable juices and whole, non-gluten grains exclusively, for example.

As far as supplements go, in addition to a protocol that is specific to that type of cancer, I would also most definately:

1 - Get started on a "super" whole food supplement high in anti- oxidants known to "cure" cancer. My two favorites for this are -
Berry Young Juice or Ningxia Red, by Young Living
Frequensea, by Forever Green

2 - Start taking capsules full of Frankinscence, by Young Living (this is the only brand I would use for this, 20 drops in each capsule - 3x a day and also start putting drops on the affected area, especially if there are tumors.

(I poured this stuff on my mother's brain tumors and within a couple of days her tumors had reduced)

3 - I would also investigate a product called Cantron (formerly known as Cancel) for their particular kind of cancer. I have personally met many people who have had great success with this product - but it depends on the type of cancer and other variables - but most definatley worth exploring.

That should at least get you started on some things. Good luck on this journey. Remember to breathe deeply and often and know that divine order is taking place.

It is a relatively new product that I am very impressed with.

They won't give you much info for fear of FDA reprisal, but this is also a really effective protocol for many types of cancer. Do your homework on this one to know and also to learn how to take it properly as it is tricky.
