This was the same with me. I use two grams of sodium ascorbate powder in the alkalizing green drink I make, and the added vitamin C does not lower my pH. What is your opinion on ascorbate minerals, have you ever taken them? My Naturopath gave me some to take a couple of years ago to see if they would help my chronic fatigue. At the time I was doing a lot of things and getting better, so I don't really know how much the mineral ascorbates or ascorbate minerals (I can't remember which)helped. It would seem like a good combination though.
