The way I see it, there's not a 'chosen' group of people who have the right to make moral judgements for everyone else.

Except that the self-proclaimed chosen disagree and are conspiring right now to turn America into a theocracy. Evangelical Christians: America's Own Taliban. If evangelicals have their way, gays will be put to death as a matter of law.
