I would want my classmates to meet my "parents" whether they be gay, or straight, or one or three or black or white or deformed or whatever. If they loved me and taught me tolerance, love, and not to judge other and treat them as I wanted to be treated, I would not care if they were a man and a woman or like everyone or anyone elses "parents". I would be glad they had not taught me to hate someone because they thought differently than I did. I would be proud that my parents loved me.

Why does it matter? It all boils down to what one believes and when one thinks that their beliefs are superior to others beliefs. When one believes they are superior they sometimes think that they have to control what others do. The truth is "there is no such thing as superiority" except in our minds. I think Jesus used to teach love, didn't he?

I may be wrong as it's been a long time since I read the bible as I gave up Christianity for Buddhism many years ago. Now, I don't follow any one religion, but follow what's in my heart because that is where and what GOD is..........
