In response to the parent in Navada - your state has religous & medical exemptions. Go with the religous exemption. That covers you completely. Noone has the right to ask what that religion may be. I am Catholic and the aborted fetus material used in some vax is enough that I can honestly say I refuse on religious grounds (although that is not why I refuse). I went to my local health department and signed a waiver. That was it. Just make sure to never lead on to ANYONE that you are doing it for philosophical reasons.Always state religious exemption. The less you say the better. I have dreaded ER visits with my three year old. We finally had to go (flu) and it was no problem. I just said we don't vaccinate. Be ready to quote your state code(first link)- you would say "according to code ch.392 105" I have the legal right to refuse. You might even go to your state & copy the code and number and carry it with you. You can also download an exemption form to carry as well. I vaxed my first and did none with my second. The differance is huge.
