Homemade water/juice popsicles
Frozen face cloth to chew on (try to find organic unbleached cotton)
There are the hyland tablets that the above poster mentioned, they are homeopathic. There are also glycerin based herbal extracts with chamomile and other support ingredients specially made for teething babies. You can find these products in a health food store.
Try not to rely on tylenol. It can be toxic to the liver and kidneys in adults. I can only imagine what it does to a small child. So use special care with it and only use when absolutely desperate.
We have only used tylenol sparyingly - and only at times when the whole household is distrupted at night and no one is getting sleep ;o)
Otherwise, just use a lot of patience and tender loving care. Distraction also works very well when babies are teething. If you play with them, and give them lots of attention they won't feel half as bad.
