I know what you mean about feeling helpless! This is something we are unable to do for ourselves so we are at their mercy and have to accept whatever they do (and pay for it too). Where is our governement when we need its help? I am surprised they will even pull the teeth for you, considering the fact that they don't believe in "losing teeth". Also, if you have, or if you ever get a tooth crowned beware of the amaglam they will certainly put under it to do their buildup. That's something else too. They do things to you to keep you having to come back for more expensive procedures. I have spent so much money unnecesarily on dental work that has gone bad and only caused problems a little later. I only wish I had known better too. I am so sorry for you but at least they haven't destroyed all of your teeth, so please don't let them. All of those expensive procedures like crowns, root canals, and implants are useless and will not save your teeth. You will eventually lose them if you have a problem with them anyway so just pull them and save your health and money. One more interesting thing happened to me at a dentist's office that may be of interest to you. While in the dentist's office having a tooth crowned, I heard her receptionist talking to the dentist's husband (office manager) about my having a new house and did he want that too. They were checking my credit report. Why, I don't know since they make it plain that they want payment at the time of services. Well, good luck on your dental adventure next week; I hope everything turns out alright for you.
