You're welcome. I can ask the same question about her brother and sister, and also the priest that was there. Why didn't they call their parents to come in since they were in there praying with her two hours before they were asked to leave so that hospice could make an assessment? They all knew she was going to die that day. What is comes down to is that the parents made a choice not to be there. I do not blame them for that.

Also from what I understand Terri had made it clear that she did not want to be buried with the bugs and worms and that is why he chose cremation for her. I can certainly understand that since I feel the same. I feel that if the family had not painted him as an abuser without any proof that just maybe this could have turned out differently. I understand why the family would try to have those claims investigated since they would do anything to keep their daughter, but they once considered him a wonderful son in-law, so I never gave much weight to claims of abuse.

From now on I am choosing to no longer speculate on either sides motives since it is clear to me that each side truly believed in what they were doing. I just hope now with her passing the healing can begin, and that they ALL can find peace. Otherwise the resentment will probably lead to health and/or mental problems of all involved, including those supporters who are so bitter. I always like they saying, "resentment is like drinking poison and hoping your enemy will die." I truly believe that is true.
