I have this problem too. :(
What works for me best is trying to cut it out little by little altogether. Then once I am over the physical addiction I just allow myself indugences of high quality sweets once a week (on Tuesday nights). For me they have to be high quality because then I savor them and don't feel as guilty since I feel more expensive food is better for you.
