Have you checked out the BloodRoot Forum? They seem to be doing remarkable things with Bloodroot powder taken internally and Bloodroot Salves. My Father is a cancer survivor who said if it came back the would not seek allopathic treatment. As a result, I've done a lot of reseach over the past four years trying to find an alternative. Granted, like all types of medicine there are some quacks in the bloodroot community, but there are reputable organizations like Alpha Omega (shut down by the FDA for allegedly making cure claims).
