Hilton Hotema, fruitarian, noted excess menses in a female is HEMMORAGING of the uterus. A study in Hotema's reports, done by early mds, on the menses in nuns and the mensus in prostitutes found: The nuns who practiced abstinence averaged 1 day of bleeding and about a teaspoon of blood loss total, whereas the prostitutes who were sexually active bled heavily for as many as 14 days!!!!

To view excess menses as trauma and hemmorage of the uterus and female organs is an early medical opinion and finding. Amenorhea was a healthy finding in nuns. Dr. Christoper, herbalist, regards heavy menses as uteral hemmorage also and recommends packing the vagina with cotton, taking bed rest and taking herbs to stop excess menses hemmoraging and blood loss.

Other herbalists believe the menses is release of TOXIC corrupt blood. Therefore a fruitarian diet would create less corruption of the blood hence less need to expell the toxic blood in excess bleeding and menses.
