Yeah, I don't think eating meat could be construed as natural, or even having enough benefits to outweigh the risks, but to each his own. I don't think that evolving from the sea would make us naturally fish-eaters. If we evolved from apes it wouldn't mean we should eat apes. I think the logical deduction is that we shouldn't eat any meat whatsoever, and ideally, no dairy either, but that's just me.

I struggle with the concepts behind fruitarianism, because it is so very compelling. But in the end, the most important thing is just to listen to your body. I want to try fruitarianism, but I've got to get off wheat and refined foods before I can do anything. After reading all I can find about raw veganism and fruitarianism, I'm definitely open to acknowledging that fruitarianism may have drawbacks, but I'm going to try it for myself before I decide.

I have a suspicion that I will end up simply as a raw vegan (by that, I mean 75%+ raw, and NO processed foods at all! Maybe just steamed veggies from time to time, homemade popcorn occasionally. That kind of thing). I've got to get off the junk first though :). My teeth are in HORRIBLE shape right now, so my only concern with fruitarianism is whether I'll be risking making them worse.

Anyway, I think listening to your body is the most important factor in whatever you do. My body is telling me to get off my ass & exercise, and stop putting garbage in it! How about you guys?
