Not everyone is so into the bible, and you sound very conservative, so I would think it would be hard for you to think about anything as what 19236 suggests here. There are those who have done alternative histories of man, like Hilton Hotema (who was a doctor and a preacher) who would probably blow your mind, or you just wouldn't believe it He posutlates that before Adam and Eve (which in his mind was the downfall of man) humans were immortal breatharians. The fact that we were then to eat herbs of the land and procreate was a curse for the original sin, sex. This is what he says, mind you, not me, but it's interesting to think about.
Even the bible suggests that man lived hundreds of years back then, and fasting was common.
One thing is certain, eating less is healthier. There have been many studies done on calorie restriction on people and rats. I for one only eat one meal a day or liquid only and cannot complain about health or energy. No, I'm not breatharian either but I like the idea.
And I don't believe God made us this way, stuffing our faces and becoming obese and dying of cancer. We are definately DEvolved!
Oh, and studies on breatharians of the past have shown that they have no anus.
