Get the books 'A Cancer Battle Plan" and "Antioxidants Against Cancer" from Amazon and have your mom read them. They are both short. Battle Plan is a good primer into alternative medicine. She needs to get on an aggressive juice fast cleanse along with high-dose vitamins, antioxidant suppliments, and high-trypsin enzymes (i.e. Omnizyme Forte). If you have the resources, you might want to check out HealthQuarters.

As far as the chemo, insist that the onc give you real stats on its efficiacy. Don't let them toss out "feel good" BS prognosis. A feel-good prognosis would be when they say 25% to make you feel good, when in fact, the prognosis is 0.

My guess is that in standard medicine there is not much hope when you have peritonal metastisis. Thus, your mom needs to get on an aggressive nutritional program quickly. To start, she shoudl probably do a 2-week juice fast with daily coffee enemas. And suppliments. Again, have her read "A Cancer Battle Plan". Speaking as one who is fighting a serious cancer myself, I can say that this is an excellent book for the patient.
