2tuff I appreciate your response to my obviously "stupid question" as so many have put it. It was just a question that I needed an answer to before I put the damn gum in my mouth. Isn't it good that I asked instead of just assuming? I just started the raw diet and felt like I needed to chew because the first three days were hard and I was hungry. Thanks for basically not telling me what a idiot I am for even thinking it. It was just a question. I'm still learning. I also would like to thank you for not talking down to me. There are a couple of people out there who maybe don't realize that they can mean and arrogant. This doesn't help anyone. The thing I like about this forum was that noone had a "God" complex. Now I'm starting to notice those people who do. Anyway thanks for answering my questions. Have a nice day
