My aunt had the same condition but I was not lucky enough to get her out of a nursing home were she passed away. Once a person gets sent to a nursing home its a death sentence with they get all the pills pushed down their throat. My aunt was on nothing but they thought she was depressed and need a mood altering drug but in order to feed her EPA/DHA I had to get a physicians note! Anyway I learned alot about this disease and yes the omega 3, 69 and DHA help alot with the mind. But if you live in the States look at http://www.lef.org and read up on DHEA supplementation as it has a lot to do with problems associated with all kinds of disease as we get older including cancer. It seems to help a lot with dementia.
