I started doing coffee enemas by suggestion of the natural doctor. I don't think there could be a problem with the liver. One of the purposes of the enema is to stimulate the liver to flush itself more gently than a direct liver flush. I'm feeling awesome after the enemas. I started with 3 big spoons per quater of water, now, I use 5 spoons. (I have the coffee inside for 15-20 minutes).
There was a posting about a woman with liver tumours who flush them away (using liver flushes). (i gues the posting is at the liver cleanse forum).
I have heard about doing other type of enemas with herbs and natural supplements, but I don't know how to do them yet.
One that comes to my mind is using plain distilled water, or ozonated water.
