Dude you are off.

NCI stats show that Stage 4 Colon cancer patients have < 1% survival rate, and that the best most expensive drugs (i.e. Avastin & Erbitux) do not affect the numbers at all, even in trials with cherry-picked participants. This is all readily available in the NCI stats. In the Avastin B & C trials, patients survived on average two months longer than the control group. 10-30% of these poor souls will die from severe lung hemorraging.

It is the presentation of the NCI stats that are bogus. The results of this pathetic trial are declared a "breakthrough", and Avastin is being pushed on the poor stage 4 CC patients at $5000 per treatment.
