I try to eat low-sodium diet. No added salt. All processed foods are low-sodium.

For salad dressing, I use cold-pressed olive oil with balsamic vinegar). I add vitamin E to olive oil to prevent rancidity.

All animal products are organic, hormone free, and vegetarian diet.

I only use milk for cereal. I prefer real milk to soy, and non-homogenized milk is freshest.

I generally avoid cheese, except low-fat cottage cheese. I might use a little of a strong cheese for flavor (i.e. parmesan, etc.).

I use unsalted organic butter in moderation.

Seafood is generally deep-water.

When eating at restaurants, I will order fish or vegetarian unless meat is specified as organic.

For the most toxic veggies (apples, cabbage, carrots, garlic, lettuce, peppers, potatoes, onions, etc), I only buy organic. For least toxic, I buy organic when affordable.

I do not eat any foods with added Sugar (some condiments such as ketchup is OK, in small amounts).

I only eat whole grains (wheat, rice, etc.). No refined grains.

I eat at least 50-60% of veggies and all fruits raw.

I limit intake of high-sugar fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, etc.).

I try to drink at least 1 oz of water for every pound of body weight daily (~80-100 oz for me). I drink distilled water, but add liquid minerals since distilled water can leech minerals from body.

I do not drink any coffee or tea (occasional green tea excepted).

The only alcoholic beverage is red wine, and in moderation.

I do not count fat, carbohydrates, or calories. I simply try to make every calorie count.

I allow myself to step outside this diet on a few occasions such as holidays, family celebrations, etc., though I try to maintain as much of my rules and guidelines as possible.
