It sickens me too.
I work as a nurse in a hospital. One of our doctors husband (also a doc) has aggressive liver cancer. He has just a few months to live.
I want to suggest the alternative health treatments, but they are both SO mainstream medicine.
I know the doc respects me, I am a charge nurse in her unit. I don't want to risk her thinking of me as a whack job. Am I being selfish???
She knows I am into all things natural. She even jokingly calls me Nature Nurse.
Do I speak up or just sit by and watch him slowly die at the age of 40???
