A beloved relative is struggling with monastic colon cancer that has spread to the liver. Conventional treatment is not effective, and he is in great pain.

I have been researching alternative medicine and realized that there are thousands of options... Can anyone, with experience, please advise regarding the most effective alternative treatments for the condition above. Time is of the essence. Thank you.
