Please be very careful with anything that affects hormones. It may be that her cancer is fueled by estrogen in her system. I'm not really very familiar with ovarian cancer but I know that Breast Cancer is often fed by estrogen, and uses it to grow. This may be why they took her off the HRT(?) I've had Breast Cancer myself, and took chemo which put me into menopause. My hot flashes were really bad and frequent at first. I did a lot of research and talked to all of my doctors about treatments for hot flashes, and chose to not use anything for them. I absolutely do not want to refuel the cancer!
