I just had my GB removed this past Wed. via the lap. procedure and couldn't be happier that I did it. Although, these flushes may work and provide relief, it is only temprorary & why would one want to know you'll have to practice this regimen for the rest of one's life. I haven't had an opportunity to read through everything listed on this site regarding the con's to the surgery, although I'd love to be enlightened to some of them, other than the obvious where the surgery may not have worked for some, which is the chance you take with any surgery. It's just interesting to me that so many are against the surgery and don't mind subjecting themselves to a "flush" routine for the rest of their lives. My surgery went well, I was afflicted with several small stones and was suffering attacks here and there, mostly caused by eating high fat foods. I'm on day 5 of recovery and haven't had any set backs yet. Looking forward to not having to question my diet on a daily basis.
