Sister Skye and fellow sufferers
I forgot two important points. Firstly, I don`t think itching is always a sign of healing. With a wound, I guess it is a sign of healing. But with liver disorders, isn`t it a sign that there is a biliary obstruction so that bilirubin and/or bile salts back up into the blood. High levels of these waste substances can then be detected by blood tests. The mechanism of the itching is not well understood, but it is thought that these waste products eventually accumulate in the skin and cause nervous excitation. This is certainly not a healing response: it is an indication that the blood is poisoned by waste products from the liver.
Secondly, I want to draw your attention to some case reports of treating gallbladder disease, cancer and other degenerative disease which date from the 1930`s. It seems that back in 1931/1932, one conscientous doctor had postulated that many degenerative diseases were the result of a lack of hydrochloric acid. So this doctor experimentally gave extremely dilute HCl intravenously once a week, plus oral doses several times a day, over a period of several months. He then witnessed a regression of precancerous lesions and cancerous tumors, and astounding improvements in all manner of other degenerate conditions. I am not suggesting that we all start
swilling hydrochloric acid. But first read these reports at the webpage:

Scroll down to "Acid Mineral Chlorides in Treatment" by Walter B. Guy, M.D., and judge for yourself. Of course, bile is alkaline, but normally the gallbladder wall secretes a small amount of hydrochloric acid so that the bile does not become too alkaline. If this secretion is depleted, then bile will precipitate from solution. If in addition, a person suffers from lack of exercise, then that will facilitate the formation of bile crystals (gallstones). Try growing a crystal in the lab when the mother liquor is flowing - you just can`t. So, in other words, I view gallstone formation as being largely due to these two factors - one, lack of HCl secretion leading to over-alkaline bile pH, and two, bile stasis (inertia). For those of you who have water electrolysis devices at home - which are normally used to supply alkaline drinking water - what if we started drinking the "acid fraction" instead. Perhaps, we could add 1/4 teaspoon of Sea Salt to a cup of that water to generate HCl "in situ". It`s just a thought.
Best,
Brother Avery
