i can understand exactly how you feel you want to talk to them all the time and make them understand how much they mean to you. i am going through a similar situation but he finished with me he says how much he loves me but doesnt know how to talk about all the things we need to discuss.i have talked to him every day since we broke up but know that it wont help unless i give him time and the space he needs to heal.
