First of all, I sincerely think you have MANY positive attributes in you relationship. You both seem to communicate well, stay open-minded to each other, and foster a healthy honesty together. I strongly feel these are great ingredients for a healthy relationship.

I just have one or two thoughts to offer you. How well do you think he reacts to your noticing of other guys you claim as "hot?" Perhaps, now just perhaps, he honestly, somewhere deep down inside, despises the way you notice other men? IF this is so, then this could explain why he goes kinda far in noticing other women the way he does to "upset you." This is JUST A THOUGHT. <=^D

Try asking him questions like: "Does the way I notice other men honestly bother you?" If he truly isn't, then perhaps he just acts a little quirky now and then. I don't think a little unique behavior would be enough to get worried over wouldn't you agree?

I think it is best to maintain your present level of communication with him. It seems quite healthy for both of you and your relationship. Also, keep in mind that he IS a man, not a woman. With all due respect to how well you know him, he IS a different species of humans.

I hope I've been helpful, and I remind you that these are just some suggestions to consider.
