I don't know what is going on with her, but I do know that the accident has probably caused problems for her. I had been in the hospital in very bad condition once, and I got very depressed for about six months after. Happy to be alive, sad, happy, sad to be ill, happy. Yo-Yo evaluation of possibilities and problems. You know, stress. I don't know what to tell you, but maybe she is just being a little manic right now...you know, trying to regain control and meaning in her life after being hospitalized? Maybe some talk about her experience and her feelings would help you get to the root of the problem. Maybe it won't, but if you feel she is worth it, you can try.

As for the talking to other guys thing. I have a few suggestions. Don't try to change her, either love the way she is or move on. Of course, it is important that she respects you enough to take your concerns into account as well! But, people change themselves and often fight against others that try to change them. This "fighting" that I am talking about can be more passive than verbal or physical attacks, and is a way for a person to maintain or re-establish him or herself.

Just some thoughts, I am sure others will be more helpful, but I thought I could offer some of my thoughts about your situation.
