I agree with Jack. You have a right to feel the way you do! Don't let others persuade you to feel the way "they think" you ought to.
This world we live in is getting crazier and crazier. You don't have to join in if you don't want to.
As long as your kids are old enough to make their own decision on how they want to be involved then, it should also be easy for you to decide. Don't second guess your feelings.
