I'm not sure what happened to my message, when I click on it I only get the subject line...

Anyways, my message was that I am calm and confident around everybody, but can get quite vulnerable and snappy at BF. Is this a dynamic of the 'romantic' relationship? Because he is the one person I can truly show both my good and bad sides to because I know he loves me anyway? Or is it a sign of frustration perhaps.

I know that I should'nt expect others to fulfil things that I should fulfil for myself, and I definitely know not to try and change people, but I can't avoid trying sometimes to get him to do things 'my way' or be disappointed or frustrated when he does'nt want the same things as me. I guess I have to figure out for myself what is more important - the issues I get snappy about, or being with him.

Not overly worried, but seeking to understand.
