We're not all rich monsters here! Believe me, coming up with $50 right now is not negligable for me! I will find the way to contribute something as I do not have health insurance and must pay for all health problems out of my own pocket.

In the post lower down, "Hi Tracy", the problem with currency differences was addressed. I may be mistaken, but having a forum for advertisers seems kind of contrary to how advertising works (television commercials are not, unfortunately, on one channel because NO ONE would watch them! In the health food stores I go to I have noticed how many "alternative" health magazines advertise really questionable stuff...loads of drugs!

Magazines and such inevitably become dependent on advertisers as they make improvements to the site in direct relation to the funds they receive. Look at Public TV and radio in the US. Corporate funding makes it impossible for them to really address widespread corruption! Look at women's magazines. All their articles take an ambiguous stance on dangerous cosmetic surgeries and proceedures BECAUSE of their advertisers. Have you ever seen an article on the toxic substances in women's cosmetics? They could never publish one because advertisers would threaten to pull their ads!

I am totally against advertising. The one political site that I support has never had advertising and it is completely FREE to express opinions. Eventually, pharmaceutical companies will get their toxic claws into everything health related...it's an 800 billion a year industry...why do you think TV has become THE vehicle for drug pushers!!! THEY HAVE GOBS OF MONEY, and eventually no one else can compete for advertising time. Look at the companies that advertise all over the internet now.

Watered down health information is not going to help anyone. Perhaps the CureZone would be the first not to allow that to happen, but most publications that succumb to advertising eventually lose their edge, which is why new ones are always popping up with the real stories BECAUSE they have no advertising. There are plenty of bland health sites on the net...I guess if CureZone became one of those I would go elsewhere.
