Hi Jen,
My doctor has recommended surgery to remove my left thyroid gland because of a toxic adenoma which is causing hyperthyroid. Did you have both glands removed? Was there any weight gain after surgery? I have been suffering with hyperthyroid for many years and dealing with tiredness. My doctor promises I won't be as tired after removing the gland.
