I thought I was alone in my thinking, refusing mammograms and having thrown the microwave in the trash years ago - and finally I discover a website that spells out, with scientific reference, reasons for my gut aversion to so many things people regard as life's necessities.

I’m an artist not a scientist, and for years have been listening to the needs and reactions of my body to foods and social environs. Typically this runs against the general consensus of society -- which in my observation is addicted to the PILL.

I have watched people eat and stress themselves to death, with adamant denial that they participate in their demise with every mouthful and thought.

I will be reading more of this site over the next few months - there appears to be much to read and learn from here, and I look forward to conversing with like-minded people who are apparently aware of the NATURE of being human.
