I don't have the definitive answer, but it makes sense to think that as long that the thing that triggered the Psoriasis is still there, it will continue to spread, until that cause is eliminated. I think that it's a lot like a snowball effect--it takes a long time for most people for that first patch to appear, and then as the body's defense mechanisms break down the P spreads faster.

The chemo effect is weird indeed.
