Since it runs in your family, you really do need to keep checking it. My doctor runs the TSH test on a basic metabolic panel, and hopefully other doctors are following suit, as hypothyroidism is one of the #1 undiagnosed imbalances, and if left undiagnosed, can lead to major issues including dementia!

Your symptoms definitely speak to a slow metabolism and things just not getting DONE in the body. So please DO get a thyroid panel done. Only accurate diagnosis will spare you time spent feelign awful!!!
