Overdosing on Epsom Salts does not induce sleep at all. It messes up your electrolytes, especially calcium. Most insomnia is due to calcium deficiency, which you certainly will have after fasting all day, and which magnesium will exacerbate. I do not use Epsom Salts when liver flushing. And even when I did, I did not use Clark's recommended dose.
