Not sure about this, but I had this several years ago and went to my gynecologist about it - I actually had a small cyst in my breast in addition to the very severe premenstrual breast soreness.

He told me to CUT the CAFFEINE and get more vitamin E in my diet, wait 2 cycles and only come back if it still hurt - and I didn't have to because the soreness stopped.

Anyway, that was my experience.
