It depends on what kind of fast you're on. Some fasts require no oils, but that can be bad because it promotes gallstone formation. Evening primrose is a good Omega 3 oil, but it is slightly estrogenic, so it's best to cycle it wtih non-estrogenic oils like cod liver.
