why would you want to drink it straight? Blech!!! you could burn your tongue that way! :)

The pH strips can be very misleading. If you're testing your mouth, oftentimes they are merely saying taht you're not anticipating eating any time soon. As soon as you KNOW you're about to eat, your digestive tract starts producing more alkaline substances for the small intestine.

If you're testing your urine, an acid reading could be a good thing in that you're sloughing off old acids from within your cells. So just keep on keeping on.
