you can buy Coptis online from www.sensiblehealth.com, well worth the expense.

The cleansing carrot salad helps by cleansing the bile.
Artichokes are excellent! eat these whenever they are in season and cheap. The rest Anne listed. :)

The rest are herbs and have to be purchased online or require a trip to the health food store... altho some chain drugstores are getting on board with liver-supporting herbal complexes. :)

Most oils will encourage bile production, as that's what it's for, to digest fats. Coconut won't, it's an amazing oil that is absorbed directly by lymphs. Olive and butter/Ghee will.
