The "Why" is mostly because we *earned* it because collectively we have evolved. :) There's enough of the right kinds of energy to allow for a release of what the earth stores for us to enhance our own evolutionary growth.

Measurements were taken, a certain goal was met, so whammo! time for a major shift. The Harmonic Convergance is the most famous shift, the one that made everyone see 11:11 everywhere. What's happening NOW is a continuation of that shift, a shift from the Piscean age dynamics (a parent paradigm) to the Aquarian age dynamics (teamwork, self-reliance, inter-dependency, co-creative relationships that are equal, not parent/child).

There is a very good channeling from Archangel Michael that explains how the energy affects us physically and emotionally really well. If you're interested I'll post it. :)
