5 HTP is a serotonin precursor which is made from the bean plant. It helps your body make happy brain chemicals and helps you sleep.

Since tryptophan was banned in the 80's due to contamination people have switched to 5 HTP.

It is available at vitaminshoppe.com and is pretty cheap
