Good question. Die-off is actually a synonym for the healing crisis, or Herxheimer Effect. I have a post in the FAQ on how to deal with die-off. For the reactions you get after a sauna, it's probably due to dehydration and loss of electrolytes, plus if you're a pitta dosha the heat would eventually drain you.
So when you enjoy the sauna, you should do things to replace your fluids even before you get in, such as by drinking the rehydrating drink or cleansing drink (see FAQ), or taking EmergenC (great for candida people!).
You can also increase the sweating effect if you drink chamomile tea, which is diasphoretic (sp?), which means it induces sweat, prior to the sauna. Add maple syrup or molasses for minerals.
You can also alternate with something like the Detox Bath and castor oil pack. (see FAQ and lymph notes)
Hope that helps! :)
