I had an ultrasound yesterday which showed gallstones. I have an appt. Monday to talk w/ a surgeon about having my gallbladder removed, which is what my primary physician recommends.

Doing some internet research, I came across this site & am intrigued. I would like to try a gallbladder flush to see if I can remove the stones by less drastic means than surgery, but am apprehensive about doing so.

I originally went to my dr. for stomach pain, which he thinks is probably gastritis or ulcers. He did the ultrasound just in case, and it turns out that another pain I have had in the past was bc of gallstones.

I also have spastic colitis/irritable bowel symptoms from time to time, and have a very sensitive digestive system. Therefore, I am worried about doing any of the cleanses because I don't want to cause more problems for me than I already have.

Any suggestions/advice as to 1. whether I should do a cleanse at all, and 2. if so, which one would be the most mild for my stomach & intestinal problems but still get results. The last thing I want to do is make myself sick from this, then not even get any Gallstones out.

Also, has anyone had an ultrasound before & after a cleanse and had successful results?
