One thing about C-sections -the baby's gastrointestial tract is usually colonized with beneficial bacteria on its way out of the vagina . C-section babys usually have less bifidus bacteria which can cause skin rashes, colic diarrhea and other issues. According to one article I read the bacteria in the "hospital environment" usually colonizes in the C-section babies. Which is a scary thought. I had a c-section and my baby had/has numerous problems all of them can be traced to lack of beneficial bacteria. Im trying to fix these problems now. Just a heads up.
