THANK YOU, OBJOYFL!

The information you shared is consistent with what I was told by my doctor, read in pharmaceutical references, and in scientific studies. We have to be so careful with our bodies, and I do try to understand what it is I am doing, what I am taking, and the potential effects.

I should probably clarify. When I mention trouble with my eyes and the itching, I actually had long strings of (I believe) candida being expelled from the tear ducts onto the surface of the eyes. It really itched! I did not know that other people didn't have this discharge, neither did my mother as apparently she thought it was normal, too. Couldn't wear contact lenses because I couldn't keep them clean enough to see well through them! My nose also itched so badly, I remember so many times I just wished I could rip it right off my face! Of course, always congested, too, with white-yellow-green phlegm. This has all cleared up, as have my sinuses, as I have gained ground against the candida. Allergies disappeared, etc. There were so many things about my body that I thought were "normal," since having a candida overgrowth present all I ever knew. Yes, much of it was caused by the toxins, as you referred to in your message. I do think that what I was seeing come out of my nose and eyes was actual candida though, that likely was spread from the mouth and/or touching my nose and eyes. It seems to be happy living on mucosa. I wonder how it is that my eyes managed to avoid infection, with candida floating around on a daily basis. I am so grateful that I did not lose my sight, given what candida has done to other parts of me.

Thanks again for confirming what "I thought I knew" about nystatin. On this board, it frequently seems to be erroneously lumped together with other antifungals that are absorbed into the bloodstream and processed by the liver.
