It's hard to be accurate in any test because there are too many factors in play.
I have done a provoked urine test (with DMSA) - this will scavange mercury and other heavy metals in your body and into the urine before sample is taken. So this sample may not be a true representation of your heavy metals in the bloods are at all times, but it certainly sheds light on how many heavy metals may be lodged in your body. Unprovoked blood test only shows levels in the blood which are tightly controlled by the body so it will be lower than the actual levels.
